Welcome to Doodloosh, the ultimate kids’ digital art multivendor marketplace! We’re excited to support a safe, fun, and creative environment where children can showcase and sell their digital artwork. Please read these Terms carefully, as they govern the use of our website and mobile application. By accessing or using Doodloosh, you and your parent/guardian agree to these Terms.

1. User Age and Supervision

  • Doodloosh is designed exclusively for children aged 6 to 13 years old.
  • Parents or guardians must provide consent for their child to use the platform and are responsible for supervising their child’s activities.
  • By creating an account, you confirm that the child meets the age requirement and that the parent/guardian agrees to these Terms.

2. Content and Community Guidelines

We strive to maintain a family-friendly environment:

  • Language: Vulgar, offensive, or disrespectful language in usernames, shop names, product listings, or communications is prohibited.
  • Inappropriate Content: Violent, sexual, or otherwise explicit content is strictly prohibited.
  • Personal Information: Profile pictures and shop images cannot contain the child’s likeness. Usernames may not include real names or personally identifying information.
  • Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.

3. Auctions and Marketplace Rules

  • Transactions: All sales are final unless the parent/guardian seller authorizes a refund.
  • Auctions: Winners must claim their item within 24 hours; otherwise, it may be offered to the next highest bidder.
  • Watermarks: Artwork across our website and mobile application are protected by watermarks and other various safeguards to protect artists’ intellectual property. These watermarks are removed when you make a purchase.
  • Original Work: Only original artwork created by the child artist may be uploaded. Copyright infringement or plagiarism will result in account suspension or ban.

4. Payments and Commissions

  • Payments: Payouts are made to the parent/guardian’s account via withdrawal requests in the Artist Dashboard.
  • PayPal: processed to artists who send withdrawal requests every Monday.
  • Commission: Doodloosh retains a 14% commission on each sale to support platform operations and development.

5. Refunds and Artist Policies

Refunds are handled by the artist’s family at their discretion. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, Doodloosh may step in to mediate and assist in reaching a fair resolution.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting the privacy and data of our users. Personal information collected during registration and transactions is safeguarded according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell your data to third parties. Parents or guardians must consent to all data collected from children under 13, in compliance with COPPA. 7. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Doodloosh respects intellectual property rights. All artists retain the copyright to their creations. Artwork uploaded to our platform should be the original work of the artist. Any instances of copyright infringement or the unauthorized use of others’ work is prohibited and may result in account suspension or ban.

8. Safety and Conduct

You agree that engaging in behavior deemed negligent, in violation of set Community Guidelines, or abusive is reason for Doodloosh to restrict your account.To keep Doodloosh a safe space, users may not:

  • Harass, bully, or discriminate against others.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent their identity.
  • Collect, track, or misuse another user’s information.
  • Engage in unlawful activities or encourage others to do so.

Violation of these rules may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

9. COPPA Compliance

By using Doodloosh and its services, users must certify that they are between the ages of 6 and 13. If they are not within this age range, users must refrain from continuing to use the Site and its affiliated services. Alternatively, users must have consent from a parent or guardian to maintain usage of our services per the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (“COPPA”).

  • Parental Consent: Parents or guardians must consent to their child’s use of our platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
  • Data Requests: Parents/guardians may review, manage, or request deletion of their child’s data at any time.

10. Reporting and Safety Tools

Users and parents can report inappropriate content or unsafe behavior through our reporting tools. We take all reports seriously and will investigate and act where appropriate.

11. Communication With Parents/Guardians

We encourage parents/guardians to remain actively involved in their child’s Doodloosh experience. Doodloosh may contact parents/guardians regarding account activity, safety matters, or policy updates.We are here to support parents in ensuring a safe and educational experience.

12. Updates and Amendments

These terms and conditions are subject to change, and we may update them periodically to reflect changes in our platform or legal requirements. Users will be informed of updates through the platform or via email. Continued use of Doodloosh after such updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada without regard to its conflict of law principles.
