- Communication: Engage with the artist or the platform to inquire about the artwork’s origin. Real kids often have stories or descriptions related to their art, which AI-generated pieces lack.
- Examine Metadata: Some digital art files contain metadata that can provide clues about the creation process or authorship. Check for file creation dates or other identifying information.
How Do Artists Receive Their Payout, and What Payment Methods Are Available?
Artists on Doodloosh receive payouts on every Monday, except on national holidays, then payouts are processed on the following business day. In order to receive payouts, artists must have a PayPal account set up by their parent or guardian using their credentials. Here are the steps to withdraw your earnings:
- Setting Up Payment: When artists register on our platform, they can link their parent/guardian’s PayPal account on their Doodloosh profile. This is done in the account settings with the assistance of their parent or guardian.
- Add Payout Method: To add a PayPal account to your payout methods, go to “ArtVenture Hub” > “MyAccount” > “Artist Dashboard” > “Settings” > “Payout Methods“.
- Earnings Accumulation: Artists, with the support of their parent or guardian, accumulate earnings from their art sales or auctions on Doodloosh. These earnings are automatically tracked within their Doodloosh account.
- Request Withdrawal: To send a withdrawal request, go to “ArtVenture Hub” > “MyAccount” > “Artist Dashboard” > “Withdraw“.
- Payment Processing: After someone buys their art, the earnings from the transaction are processed.
- Payment Arrival: The funds typically appear in the parent or guardian’s PayPal account within the following Monday from when the withdrawal request is sent.
- Withdrawal from Payment Provider: With the support of their parent or guardian, artists can then withdraw the funds from the parent or guardian’s PayPal to their designated bank account.
It’s important to note that Doodloosh prioritizes the involvement of parents or guardians in the financial aspects of the platform to ensure a safe and secure experience for young artists. Parents or guardians MUST assist their child in setting up payment information and understand any specific payout terms and conditions.
NOTE: Withdrawals are not supported on our mobile app yet, you need to utilize our website in order to withdraw your earnings. Withdrawals will be supported on our app in a future update.
How Long Does an Auction Winner Have to Purchase a Product?
After winning an auction on Doodloosh, you typically have a window of 24 to complete the purchase. This timeframe allows you to finalize the transaction and secure the artwork you’ve won. It’s important to act promptly to ensure a smooth and timely process.
Please note that if the auction winner doesn’t claim their prize within the specified time frame, the winning bid may go to the second-highest bidder, and so on.
What’s the Minimum Age for a Child to Join Doodloosh?
Doodloosh welcomes creative young artists in the age range of 6 to 13 years old. We’ve designed our platform to provide a safe and engaging space where kids within this age group can explore, express their creativity, and share their digital art with the world. Our commitment to safety and age-appropriate content ensures that Doodloosh is a secure and enjoyable platform for children and their families.
Can I Upload Artwork That Was Drawn on Paper?
Though not recommended, it’s possible to upload traditional paper-based artwork to Doodloosh. However, we recommend using digital drawing tools on mobile devices for several compelling reasons:
- Quality and Clarity: Digital art created on mobile devices tend to have higher resolutions and clarity. While you can scan paper-based art, the quality may not always match that of digital art.
- Enhanced Creativity: Drawing directly on a mobile device provides artists with a wide range of brushes, colors, and tools to explore their creativity and refine their skills.
- Interactivity: Digital art allows for interactive features, such as zooming in for precise details or easily correcting mistakes. This can enhance the overall art creation experience.

How Are My Images Protected?
Doodloosh applies watermarks to all products to help protect the digital art shared by young artists. These watermarks serve as a deterrent to unauthorized use, ensuring that artists’ creations are respected and valued by our community. While watermarks provide an additional layer of security, it’s essential to remember that no platform can offer 100% protection against image theft. If you ever encounter misuse, please report it, and we will take appropriate action.
What Dimensions Should My Images Be for Upload?
To ensure the best quality and consistency, we recommend that your images be square, with dimensions of at least 2000×2000 pixels. Square images display beautifully on Doodloosh and allow for a seamless viewing experience. While we accept non-square images, please note that they will be cropped to fit the product grid view, potentially cutting off parts of the image. We encourage artists to adjust their artwork to square dimensions for the best presentation on our platform.
