Welcome to Doodloosh! We are a kids’ digital art marketplace where young artists can showcase and sell their creations. Protecting your family’s privacy is our top priority.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal information of our users, especially children. By using the Doodloosh website and mobile application (the “App”), you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide a safe, functional, and enjoyable experience for our young artists and their families.
1.1 Information Provided by You (or a Parent/Guardian)
- Account Information: To create an account, we require a parent or guardian’s email address for login and verification. We also collect the child’s chosen username and store name (both visible publicly). We do not require first or last names.
- Profile Content: This includes profile pictures, artwork (images/photos), titles, descriptions, and listing prices uploaded by the artist.
- Payment Information: Purchases are handled securely through third-party payment providers (such as Google Play, Apple App Store, or Stripe/PayPal). Doodloosh does not store full credit card or bank account details.
- Communications: If you contact our support team, we collect your email address and the content of your message.
- Reports: If you report a user, listing, or message for violation of our terms, we collect the details of your report.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the App (e.g., pages visited, search queries, time spent).
- Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and network information.
- Crash Logs & Diagnostics: Automatically collected technical data helps us detect and fix bugs, improve performance, and maintain app stability. This data is used only for app improvement, to improve the stability and performance of Doodloosh.
1.3 User-Generated Content
We collect and store any content you create or upload on Doodloosh, including:
- Artwork and images
- Marketplace listings
- Emails sent to the support staff
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- Create, manage, and secure accounts.
- Enable children’s artwork to be showcased and sold safely.
- Facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Monitor and enforce our Terms & Conditions, including investigating abuse.
- Improve app features, stability, and performance.
- Personalize user experience (e.g., showing recommended content).
- Comply with legal obligations such as COPPA, GDPR-K, and consumer protection laws.
3. How We Share Your Information
We are committed to not selling your family’s data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Other Users: A buyer can see the seller’s username, store name, and uploaded artwork.
- With Service Providers: Companies that help us operate the App (web hosting, analytics, payment processing). These providers must protect your data and use it only as instructed.
- For Legal Reasons: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, subpoenas, or lawful requests.
- For Safety & Security: To investigate fraud, security threats, or violations of our terms.
- Business Transfers: If Doodloosh is acquired, merged, or sold, your information may be transferred with the business.
4. Your Choices and Controls (Parental Controls)
Parents and guardians have control over their child’s account.
- Access & Review: View and manage your child’s account information by logging in or contacting us.
- Easy Account Deletion: Your child’s account can be easily deleted by following this module from the Help Center, or in the App account settings tab.
- Correction & Deletion: Request corrections or deletion of your child’s account and all associated data at any time.
- Opt-Out of Promotions: Stop receiving promotional communications.
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw parental consent at any time, which requires deletion of the child’s account.
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Doodloosh is designed for children aged 6 to 13, and we take extra steps to protect their privacy.
- Parental Consent Required: Accounts must be created and verified by a parent/guardian using their own email.
- Limited Data Collection: We only collect the minimum data needed to run the platform.
- Parental Rights: Parents may review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child’s data.
- No Conditional Access: Children are not asked for unnecessary personal information as a condition of using Doodloosh.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted password storage
- Encryption in transit (SSL/TLS)
- Restricted employee access
However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
7. International Data Transfers
Doodloosh welcomes users from around the world. Our services are operated in Canada, but we may use service providers in other countries. When we transfer data outside of your home country, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect it, as required by laws like the GDPR.
8. Data Retention
- Account and content data are retained until the account is deleted.
- Crash logs and diagnostic data may be stored temporarily to improve performance.
- Certain transaction records may be retained for legal or tax purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the App or by email. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest revision.
