How to Create an Account

Signing Up

  • In the header, click on 'Artventure Hub.'
  • Next, click on "Artist Sign Up."
  • You'll then be redirected to the artist sign up page.

To create your account:

  • Fill in the corresponding blank fields.
  • Click on the pink box to accept the Terms and Conditions.
  • Click on the reCAPTCHA prompts.
  • Click on 'Create My Account'.

Verifying Your Email

Once you sign up, you'll be taken to the main page, the artist dashboard. You'll see 2 notifications appear near the top of the page telling you to verify your details.

  • To verify your email, click on "Get Verification Link."
  • Follow the prompts to verify your email.

Next, you need to verify your country, write a short bio about yourself, come up with a product policy (refunds, etc), and your payment details, or else you will be restricted from uploading your art until you've done so.

  • To do this, scroll onto 'Profile' in the header.
  • Then scroll onto "My Account."
  • Click on "My Account" to edit your account details.
  • Add your country and short store description in the specified arrows.
  • The 'Short Store Description' is like a tiny greeting card for your art shop. It's a brief message that tells people what makes your store special. You can use it to say something about your art, what inspires you, or just to give a friendly hello to everyone who visits your shop.
  • By default, your 'Shop Name' will be your username, but you can change it to a more formal store name to better fit your tastes.
  • Here you are also able to change your profile picture, your banner image, and shop logo.

Artist Policy

Near the bottom of the page is the 'Artist Policy' field.

  • Our Artist Policy is a set of rules and guidelines you create for your Doodloosh store. It helps customers understand how you do business and what to expect when purchasing your artwork.
  • Consult with your parent/guardian on which policy would work best for you to make sure you're all on the same page.
  • Once finished, click on 'Save Changes.'

Setting Up Payment Method 1: PayPal

At Doodloosh, we have two providers for our artists to receive their payouts: PayPal & Stripe.

  • To setup your account to receive payments by PayPal, scroll to the 'Profile' tab.
  • Then click on "Payment Details."

To select PayPal as your payment method:

  • Click on 'payment method.'
  • Click on 'PayPal.'
  • You'll be redirected to a new window. In this window, enter the parent/guardian email address associated with their PayPal account.
  • Click save.

Remember, it's IMPORTANT to involve your parent or guardian when setting up your account, including payment details. They are there to ensure everything is done correctly, and they'll guide you through the process safely.

Setting Up Payment Method 2: Stripe

With Stripe, you receive your payouts immediately. When someone buys your art, instead of waiting for 5-7 business days days, you'll receive your payment once the order is processed. To set this up;

  • Scroll to 'Orders'.
  • Click on "Stripe Connect Config."
  • Click on "Add Your Account To Stripe."
  • You'll be redirected to Stripe where you'll be asked to add your Stripe Connect account.
  • Once completed, your account will receive payouts from Stripe.
